Well ladies and gentlemen, all the BlitzNation bloggers have got together and talked it out, and yes, there is indeed a new number one this week in our NFL Power Rankings! It should come as no surprise as to who that team is, but we’ll at least try and make things suspenseful. 

The St. Louis Rams and Arizona Cardinals have both sold out their upcoming games and will be televised locally. The Rams don’t surprise me having trouble selling out because they look terrible, but the Cards on the other hand should be selling out every game! Whatever the case, both teams have indeed sold out and will be on TV. Good for them. 

In this edition of NFL Midseason Awards, we turn our attention to the mess that is the NFC West. There’s simply no team that has played consistent football this season, so these awards will be a little tougher to call. So let’s see who is carrying home the hardware! 

Welcome football fans to another edition of power rankings here on BlitzNation! After an exciting week of NFL action that was filled with good games between good times, the power rankings have been shook up a little this week. Some teams have separated themselves from the pack, and some have fallen off completely.

So without further ado, here are this week’s rankings: 

We’re starting a new feature here at BlitzNation, and we call it the “BlitzNation Team of the Week.” Basically, this award will be given out to the team who made the biggest statement in that week in the NFL. This week’s winner, the Dallas Cowboys. 

It was another action-packed Sunday of NFL football, and while most things went as planned, there were some surprises with a few teams. Here at BlitzNation, we’re introducing a new feature called ”In Case You Missed It” which will give you a two-minute drill like rundown of all the Sunday action.

Anytime the Chicago Bears and the Arizona Cardinals get together, it’s only natural that we bring to you one of the greatest coaching rants of all-time. Sure, there may have been better moments in Bears-Cardinals history, but here at BlitzNation, we enjoy our humor from time to time. And this is definitely one of those times. 

Bears fans we can breathe. The Chicago Bears snapped a two game losing streak against the Cleveland Browns Sunday. The Bears were impressive in their festive orange tops as they defeated the Browns 30-6. The Chicago Bears defense looked scary registering 5 takeaways and their first defensive TD of the season. Also, the Bears only allowed one third down conversion out of 11. Yes, this is the same defense that gave up 6 touchdowns on the first 7 possessions against the Cincinnati Bengals. Even more important the entire team has regained some confidence going into next weeks game when the Arizona Cardinals come to Chicago. Both teams are (4-3) and have a lot to be earned with another win.
